Two recorded introductions

1. What is Autism?

Sarah Winningham presents a historical introduction to autism, including communication, social interaction, routines and everyday examples. Diagnostic explanations, prevalence figures and research discussions belong to the recording’s original context. It is not current diagnostic guidance.

2. ABA Overview

Michele LaMarche introduces ABA through everyday examples, observable behavior definitions, antecedents and consequences, reinforcement, prompting and behavior chains. The recording walks through collecting data before and after a change and examining what the data show.

Five digital resources

The bundle lists these books and visual schedules. These are digital resources; hard copies are not included.

• Asking For Help
• ABCs of Autism
• ABA Overview: Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis
• Asking for Help Boy Visual Schedule
• Asking for Help Girl Visual Schedule

Read with current context

The autism introduction includes historical diagnostic explanations, prevalence figures and broad statements about social motivation and empathy. Those statements should not be treated as universal descriptions of autistic people or current diagnostic guidance. WHO explains that autistic people's abilities and needs vary and can change over time. Read WHO's autism overview alongside the recording.

This is introductory recorded study, not an individualized assessment or intervention plan.

Recorded presenters: Sarah Winningham and Michele LaMarche. The linked profiles contain historical biographies.

Session evaluations

Survey snapshot: October 13, 2026, 2:57 p.m. Central. Counts use the latest rating answer per customer account and recording, including partial answers. Repeat submissions are not added again. Means use complete six-item forms. These are evaluations of the named recordings; no bundle-wide mean is calculated.

On a phone, scroll the table sideways to read the titles and all three numeric columns.

N/A means the snapshot has no calculable mean for that recording. A single-number score is not substituted for a complete six-item form.

This dated rating snapshot has no rating answers or complete six-item forms for either recording.
